I decided to keep my video as simple and homely as possible because of the domestic setting and the simplicity of a dog's life. That's the reason I kept the video portrait instead of the typical landscape that most videos are in and why the video isn't always the greatest quality.
My video was inspired by my german shepard Nova. I think she is the only one who is actually happy about this quarantine, because she gets so much attention now that everyone is home all day. I hope that with everything that's going on that this video will make you smile or get your mind off the pressures of ending the school year like this. I had a lot of fun following Nova around for a couple of days so I hope you all enjoy it.
This is just the kind of thing I want to think about right now! Make sure to give that dog some pets for me, ok? You should make some more videos of Nova now that you have the time. Have a good Break and stay safe, sane, and happy!
ReplyDeleteAwe! I needed that. I like that simplicity of this video. I gives me a very basic step by step of how to be a dog while also offering a lot of personality within Nova herself. This brought a smile to my face and brightened my day. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity and over-all cuteness. If something has a dog in it, I'm down.
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity of the steps of dog's life and they are quite accurate. This also shows her personality to as she is always busy or wanting to do something, especially in the scene where she had or found a huge stick. If that does not show personality I do not know what does!
ReplyDeleteKyla, your video made me smile, and enjoy it. Your dog makes a good actor and you catch her in the right moment to express the idea you planned for this video. This video made me want to see more acting of Nova, she certainly seems happy having you around.

A simple idea that is very cute! loved all the steps you added into your film. A good subject to be with and work at home.
ReplyDeleteHi, Kyla!
ReplyDeleteI think you have made a wise choice in terms of subject. Sometimes it's best to simply work with what you have access to - and your doggie is a great, relatable subject.
You have made good use of title screens and the video moves by quickly due to these quick cuts. There are a lot of individual clips that provide variety. I wonder what type of music or sound could be used in this clip? I feel like that would enhance the viewing experience.
